As a Graphic Designer at Lancaster University Culture Society I created a series of Christmas cards open for all members of the society and university students/staff to purchase. All the cards incorporate different features and things that are associated with Lancaster and that every student/Lancaster citizen can recognise. I looked into the experiences people go through as well as my own impressions of living in this small but cosy town. Some of the common elements are the famous University library tree called Norman, the ‘Spine’ which is a path that goes across the university campus that is currently/always under construction and ducks which have become an indispensable part of Lancaster.
